冯涛教授长期从事纳米材料领域的研究,研究工作主要可分为两部分?010年前主要从事纳米碳材料及其场致电子发射的研究?010年作为洪堡学者赴德以后主要从事纳米玻璃材料的研究。在国内最早开展了采用印刷法制备碳纳米管场发射平板显示器(CNT-FED)的研究工作,并提出了采用等离子体表面处理技术提高CNT发射性能的方法,为大面积、低成本地制备CNT阴极打下了基础。在国内最早采用全印刷工艺实现了三极管结构器件的制备,使真正低成本制备CNT-FED器件成为可能?008年其领导的研究小组成功开发了可动态显示的40英寸CNT-FED显示屏,目前仍是国内报导的最大尺寸的FED显示屏?007年获上海市青年科技启明星称号;2008年获上海市创新人才称号;2010年获上海市科技进步奖三等奖(排名第五);同年获“洪堡学者”称号。作为项目负责人完成了国家自然科学基金项目“离子束辅助沉积Pt/C混合膜的制备及抑制栅电子发射机理研究”,上海科委纳米专项项目“可驱动纳米碳显示器的研制”,“高效节能冷光源及大屏幕显示模块的研制及产业化”,“新型低成本CIGS薄膜太阳能电池研究”,上海市科技启明星项目“超大屏幕用纳米碳管显示模块的关键技术研究”,和上海市人才发展基金项目?0英寸纳米碳管显示屏开发的关键技术研究”。已在Appl. Phys. Lett.,Nanotechnology 等国内外学术期刊和学术会议上发表论文50余篇;在显示领域国际顶尖会议Asia Display上连续两年(07,08)做大会邀请报告(唯一一位连续两年做邀请报告的来自中国大陆的学者);同时申请了发明专利10余项,获得专利授?项。近期发表的论文有:
